The Decatur Book Festival is turning 20—and they want your design to lead the celebration. If you’re a designer with bold ideas, this is your chance to shine.
The 2025 theme, “20 Years of Stories,” celebrates two decades of creativity, voices, and community spirit. The festival is searching for an eye-catching vertical design that works across T-shirts, posters, flyers, and digital platforms. Think color, movement, imagination—books bursting like fireworks or characters dancing across pages.
The winning design should feature “20 Years of Stories” or “20th Anniversary” as a central element. Your artwork must reflect values like diversity, storytelling, and joyful celebration. Stick to a maximum of 10 solid colors (preferably Pantone), and ensure your work is clean, bold, and vector-friendly.
Designs must be submitted in high-resolution PNG or JPG format (300 dpi, vertical). The organizers are looking for fresh, modern visuals that appeal to all ages.
