The 8th International Digital Graphics Triennial — Gdynia / Rzeszów 2025 (8th Triennial) is a continuation of the International Digital Graphics Biennials and Triennials in Gdynia, which for seventeen years have been presenting the latest trends in graphics creation using computer techniques. The aim of this competition event, which is also a review of the latest artistic works, is to present a wide spectrum of digital printing in artistic graphics as well as the prospects and directions of its development. The post-competition exhibition will be held at the BWA art gallery in Rzeszów.
The 8th Triennial’s Organizing Committee is composed of:

The competition rules (the idea) and regulations are approved by the Programme Council, which also oversees their proper course. The Council is composed of the Organizers, artists, and art theoreticians:

PARTICIPATION:
Only professional artists, graduates of art academies (excluding bachelors), and members of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (the ZPAP) can participate in the 8th Triennial. One or two previously unrecognised works, owned by the author and created after October 2022, can be submitted to the competition.
DIMENSIONS OF PRINTS:
Graphic format: permitted dimensions: B1 70 × 100 cm and combined 140 × 100 cm or 70 × 200 cm (in the case of combined sheets, the author submits one work on two B1 sheets). Mixed techniques are permitted (the digital technique should be dominant; the substrate can be of any type).
FIRST STAGE:
In the first stage of the competition, the jury will select the works that will qualify for the final presentation based on the files submitted to the e-mail address: 8mtgc@o2.pl (preview version 72 DPI, size up to 1500 pixels on the longer side in JPG format, RGB colours).
Please also attach a printable version of the catalogue with a size of 18 cm on the longer side in TIFF format, 300 DPI, CMYK colours. Files should be clearly labelled with the author’s name, size of the work, technique, date of creation, and country (in Polish or English).

PARTICIPATION FEE:
Participation in the competition is subject to payment. Artists are requested to pay an organisational fee to the organizer’s bank account:

The completed and signed application form, as well as a copy of the payment confirmation, should be sent to the following e-mail address: 8mtgc@o2.pl by JUNE 31 (the date of sending applies).
All information will be regularly updated and published on our websites: www.bwa.rzeszow.pl and www.eraartprofile.pl, including the minutes of the jury’s deliberations.
SECOND STAGE:
The originals of the qualified works should be delivered unframed, properly secured in tubes or folders (taking into account the transport options offered by the post office or courier). Each work should be labelled on the back (surname_firstname_title_date_country).
Requirements of the Polish post office (Poczta Polska): please be advised that the length of the shipment must not exceed the
maximum (length + width + height) of 150 cm with a tolerance of 5% for the largest dimension (length). Maximum weight: 30 kg — (www.poczta-polska.pl/paczka-48)
After the exhibition, the works of Polish artists will be returned by a shipment company at the participant’s expense by postage as a non-value shipment. Any cost of work insurance shall be borne by the author after prior agreement with the Organisers.
Awards Jury:
In the second stage, the jury will grant awards and distinctions for the submitted works.

The jury’s decisions are final and indisputable. Participants will be informed of the prizes awarded by e-mail.
Prizes and distinctions will be awarded during the final presentation of the post-competition exhibition at the BWA art gallery in Rzeszów.
All participants of the 8th Triennial will receive a free copy of the catalogue.

The organisers will endeavour to present the post-competition exhibition in other art galleries in Poland. We will provide information about the collection and return shipment of the works on our websites and on Facebook.
FINAL NOTES:
Works sent in by post or courier must be very well protected. The organisers are not liable for any damage.
The condition of works delivered in person, by post, or by courier will be checked by a committee. Please clearly label the outer and inner packaging to facilitate the return shipment after the exhibition. Uncollected works will be passed on to the organisers after the specified period. The exhibition will be protected by the PPNT security system.
The organisers do not accept any liability for damage to or loss of works during the exhibition.

Biuro Wystaw Artystycznych in Rzeszów (BWA) (as the controller of personal data collected from participants) informs that, pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU-2016/679 of 27 April 2016, hereinafter: GDPR) entered into force on 25 May 2018, BWA is obliged to update its rules of personal data processing.
The data will be processed for information purposes within the scope of providing information about publications, initiatives, and events carried out by BWA in Rzeszów concerning the 8th International Digital Graphics Triennial Gdynia / Rzeszów 2025.
The data are provided on a voluntary basis. The data will not be transferred to other entities and will be processed until the consent is revoked. You have the right to access your personal data, rectify it, delete it, or limit its processing, and in case of non-consent to the processing of data, to withdraw it.
The personal data of participants and winners will be processed for the purpose of organising the competition, for tax purposes (for winners), if applicable, and for marketing purposes in the form of sharing the winning projects, signed with the authors’ names, on social media and the Internet.
The right to withdraw consent does not affect the processing prior to such withdrawal.
No response will be construed as consent to receive information from us in accordance with the GDPR.
