The Essential Role of SIPSM25 Jurors

The Jurors of SIPSM25

The jurors of SIPSM25 are an essential part of the project’s overall process, as their participation ensures quality, diversity, and transparency in the selection of proposals. Their role goes beyond merely evaluating the submitted works—they also act as ambassadors of SIPSM in their respective regions, serving as mediators between the artistic community and the event. Thanks to their presence and local recognition, the dissemination of the Salon expands, allowing the project to reach new territories, audiences, and creative contexts.

Each year, at the beginning of the process, an open call or invitation is made for juror applications. During this stage, each candidate’s profile is carefully reviewed, considering their background as an artist, designer, or cultural manager, as well as their previous participation in past editions of SIPSM or similar projects. Priority is given to those who, through their practice, have made a significant impact with strong visual discourses committed to contemporary social and cultural transformations.

The diversity of the jury group, both in expressive languages and geographical origins, helps strengthen the plurality of perspectives and ensures a more balanced and transparent deliberation process. This variety of viewpoints enriches the dialogue and guarantees that the final decisions represent a broad and inclusive vision of today’s artistic landscape.

SIPSM25 promotes the dissemination of the jurors’ images and professional backgrounds through its website and institutional networks, acknowledging their contribution and enhancing the visibility of their professional practices. In this way, their participation not only strengthens the project but also helps weave a network of collaboration and mutual recognition among creators, managers, and communities.

True education doesn’t begin with books — it begins with belief: belief in the learner, in their voice, and in their worth. Quality education invites everyone to belong, not just to understand.

Carolina Serenelli | Argentina
Quality education is essential for the growth and development of every individual, as it fosters social equity and contributes to the creation of fairer and more inclusive societies.

Jie-Fei Yang | Taiwan / China
Equitable and inclusive education is the cornerstone of human potential — shaping minds, expanding futures, and empowering people to lead purposeful, fulfilled lives.

Luis Antonio Rivera Rodríguez | México
Education is a fundamental right for achieving intellectual and social individual development. It prepares us for life, acts as an engine of change, allows us to grow and reach our full potential, and helps build a more just and equitable society.

Nono Zilahi | Romanian
Quality education is a need—not a privilege. Every person, regardless of background or circumstance, deserves the chance to learn and grow. Effectiveness, achievement, and equity play an important role in quality education, which is the foundation for a more sustainable world.

Omar Franco Cañón | Colombia
Without quality education, there is no true social progress. Educating means shaping critical thinking, not imposing truths. When indoctrination replaces teaching, freedom is restricted and collective development is hindered. Education should be a liberating act, never a rigid mold imposed on others.

Paweł Pacholec | Poland
Quality Education is the foundation of growth, empowering individuals to think critically, dream boldly, and contribute meaningfully to society. True learning thrives when access is fair, teachers are valued, and students feel seen. It bridges inequality, nurtures curiosity, and lays the foundation for sustainable progress.

Sevgi ARI | Turkish Republic
Education is a lifelong journey, woven into the fabric of living. It doesn’t begin or end at school, nor can it be confined to a building. It is a basic need to love and respect the world and ourselves. When accessible, inspiring, and fair, education can build lasting bridges to a sustainable future.

Tatiana Berdnik | Rusia
Design as a new type of project aesthetic activity, began with education. The Bauhaus school gave birth not only to advanced teaching technologies but also to the understanding of a new artistic paradigm in production processes. Today, high-tech technologies have become a factor in the emergence of new design trends, and the education of the designer is becoming the main guarantee of the success of socio-cultural evolution.
