The Municipality of Pazardzhik is looking for conceptual projects that offer a fresh vision for the construction of a new City Market and improvement of the surrounding urban space. Participants are encouraged to integrate cultural heritage with contemporary urban needs while creating a vibrant, sustainable, and functional public space.

1st Place: €7,500
2nd and 3rd Place: Share of the total €15,000 prize fund
This competition reflects the city’s commitment to preserving its historical essence while upgrading its infrastructure to meet modern standards. Winning proposals will help improve pedestrian flow, traffic management, and environmental integration while enhancing the market’s usability and visual appeal.
