iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD 2026

The iF Design Student Award 2026 invites young designers to present bold ideas that respond to today’s social, ecological, and technological challenges. Each project should contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Students and recent graduates from around the world can submit their design concepts. The most outstanding works share a total prize pool of 50,000 EUR.
The 2026 award ceremony will take place in Frankfurt RheinMain, World Design Capital 2026. Previous celebrations were hosted at renowned venues such as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and the Triennale di Milano.
Competition Categories (SDGs 1–15): No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Health, Education, Gender Equality, Clean Water, Clean Energy, Work & Growth, Innovation, Reduced Inequalities, Sustainable Cities, Responsible Consumption, Climate Action, Life Below Water, Life on Land.
Every year, more than 7,000 submissions from over 80 countries highlight the vision and creativity of the next generation together with global sponsors, iF Design provides winners with international visibility, valuable career opportunities, and long-term support.
