Today is the opening ceremony of a great biannual event at the International Youth Library in Munich: the White Ravens Festival. In this festival, children, parents, educators, teachers, researchers, and whoever is interested in Children’s Literature can attend. This event is always full of entertaining and instructive programs. There are several book reading sessions, and one can witness a close relationship between writers, illustrators, children, and young adults. In fact, it is the children who choose which writer or illustrator to be present at the festival, and this makes the festival a joyous event, because the children can see their favorite authors and illustrators, talk with them about their favorite books, ask questions, if any, and buy their favorite books.
So, if you’re in Munich, don’t miss this chance to visit the Blutenburg Castle.
