Exhibition Dates: June 13 – July 26, 2025
Opening Reception: Friday, June 13, 6–8 PM
Venue: 108, rue Vieille du Temple, 75003 Paris
Renowned for her distinctive approach to sculpture and drawing, Huma Bhabha will present a new solo exhibition in Paris this summer. Hosted at 108, rue Vieille du Temple, the show offers a look into the artist’s ongoing exploration of the human figure through a raw and textural visual language.
The works on display include recent sculptures crafted from cork, clay, and other materials that have been carved, painted, and transformed through the artist’s signature processes. Among them is a striking oxidized cast-iron piece, as well as drawings and photographs that expand her sculptural themes onto two-dimensional surfaces.
This marks Bhabha’s first solo presentation in Paris in over a decade and follows her 2024 twin exhibitions in New York. The show is also aligned with her involvement in Encounters: Giacometti, a major project opening at London’s Barbican Centre in May 2025, where her work will be exhibited in dialogue with that of Alberto Giacometti.
Gallery Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, 11 AM–7 PM.
